Words Work. Words shape reality and consciousness. The words we choose can heal or harm; they can maintain old cultures, or break them open. Professional words keep us in boxes and silos: legal, bureaucratic, medical, financial… Poems break open the edges and new life can breathe in the language, reshaping our bodies, hearts, minds, and souls…and new realities are revealed.
What if words could travel out into the world — other than in books and journals — to do their alchemical work? What if the whole process could be a kind of community building process?
