Mid-Life Coaching

For people turning towards that daring edge of more life or wholeness

Are you asking?
What now?
Who am I now?
What am I going to do for the rest of my life?
What can “retirement” be for me?
How can I leverage my skills to give back something deeper to our world and our earth that need us?
What piece of my soul did I drop that wants to be heard now?
What deeper story, that is my life, is emerging now?

The number of Canadians aged 55-64 — those most likely to be thinking about retirement — jumped 28 percent in the past five years to 3.7 million. In less than ten years, one in five people in the workforce will be aged 55-64. Fuelled by an influx of baby boomers, Canadians approaching retirement age are now the fastest growing demographic in the country, new census data suggests.

We take the road of midlife
not as the beginning of
disengagement and retirement
but as a newer and profounder
path to meaningful work,
the work of belonging in a deeper way
to those people and things and places
that we’ve learned to love.
The task of midlife is the task of finding
the difficult, often dangerous road
to this eldership of love.
It becomes, for all of us,
The road worth taking,
The road back home
