Dapa Consulting was founded in 1989, a first Middle Time shift for Deborah Prokipchuk Ackley from operations and operations line management (12 years) to change management and organization / leadership development consultant. During this time she co-authored two books on change management and leadership; co-founded a non-profit organization; a women’s leadership program; taught in the Executive Development and International MBA programs at the Schulich School of Business, York University; and consulted to both the private and non profit sectors. What was at the heart of this work, always, was the quest to co-create… with clients… more humane, life-affirming organizational cultures. Her work as mother has informed all other work.
After nearly 20 years in the business, her children grown, Deborah and Dapa Consulting have undergone a Middle Time shift to:

Born in Montréal in 1955, Deborah has lived and studied in Canada, the United States, and Europe. She now writes and coaches from her home office overlooking her shade garden, on the edge of one of Toronto’s west-end ravines.
